Setting up 2FA on your Outlook account
GO to www.login.microsoft.com
Log in with your HutchCC email address and the above
password (that you set for your computer).
You should see this next:
CLICK Next
This screen will pop up next:
IF you use a different authenticator such as AUTHY or GOOGLE, click on this blue
type that says “I want to use a different authenticator app”
CLICK next:
OPEN the authenticator on your phone and choose “Add Account” this may be a + sign on your screen.
Follow the instructions for your app.
SCAN the QR code
CLICK Next
Enter the 6 digit code
WHEN this is complete, it should say:
Adding 2FA AFTER you have set up your Outlook Account.
From a
web browser:
Login to
your Outlook Account. In the upper right hand corner, click on your profile.
Choose “View Account”.
On the “Security Info” Card, choose
to “UPDATE INFO”
Choose “Add sign-in method”
From the drop down, choose “Authenticator
App”
If you
use Google Authenticator
or Authy, Click on the blue script that states “I want to use a different
authenticator app”
