Adding Shared Folders and Mailboxes in Outlook (NEW)

 

First verify that you are in the “New” version of Outlook.  If you are not, you can toggle the New Outlook in the upper right hand corner of your app screen.

In your mailbox pane on the left side of the screen, right click on your email address.

In the drop down menu, Click on “Add shared folder or mailbox”

In the pop up box, begin typing the email address for the mailbox you would like to have access to:

You will need to SELECT the populated email address from the list. It will NOT work if you just type the entire address.

 

 

Go back to the mailbox pane on the left side of the screen. Below your personal mailbox, you will see “Shared with me”. Click on the arrow next to that to show the sub folders of the email addresses that you have added.
